Akadama, is a volcanic red soil. It keeps the moisture well due to its granular structure and has good water permeability, reducing the risk of rotting roots. A neutral soil, suitable for all tree species especially deciduous trees. Contains no nutrients or trace elements. Used in combination with kiryu used for conifers and juniper.
